After he got up, he was saying "who called me a coward", "I'll finish the fight"....

You didn't watch Fight Camp 360. DOn't bother saying you did.

Thats bull****. I know you are a big Dirrell fan,but that was some wooden acting. I havent seen fight camp 360,and dont have to as I have seen the fight 3 times and seen dozens of replays from every angle. He over egged that badly. His lack of mental toughness will find him out in his next 3 fights,mark my words.

I don't mind Dirrell at all and I was pleased to see him get the win in the end, I felt he deserved it.

Having said that, I do think he hammed it up a little. Not that that is necessarily a bad thing. I think he took a pretty decent shot, got a bit rattled from it and thought, **** this why should I have to fight at a disadvantage because the other guy broke the rules.

Dirrell deserved the win and Abraham deserved his DQ loss, end of.

that's sums up my views as well.

AA deserved to be DQ'ed. Dirrell overdid it.

AA robbed us of 5 exiting minutes. That sucks.


I haven't watched 360 either, but will as soon as it becomes available on sho.com.

The thing is...he actually stood his ground against Abraham and delivered, moved a bit and repeated.....if he fought that way against Froch he would not have been robbed because it would not have been so close.

he was NOT robbed against froch. it was a close fight that dirrell probably edged. it was NOT a robbery. why cant people see the difference between a robbery and a close fight?

on the dirrel = faker thing? all i can say is that i have no evidence except what my eyes tell me... and they tell me that dirrell felt abraham coming on strong, saw a chance to 100% guarantee victory, and milked it for all he could. if that's what he did then he was pretty clever i suppose, but it's hardly the act of a champion.

however, i could be totally wrong about it because there is no evidence. all i know is that anybody who says that they know for a fact whether dirrell was faking or not is making an absolute statement on a subject that they cant possibly be certain of.

the biggest idiot by far was abraham. imo the punch itself was forgivable. we have seen many, many fighters get away with this kind of thing in the past. if dirrell hadnt reacted the way that he did (genuinely or not), then this issue would have been put to bed by now. abraham was coming on really strong when he got dq'ed so he's an idiot, and got what he deserved. his reaction after the fight was also pathetic.

the whole episode has left me respecting dirrell's skills a lot more than i did, and respecting abraham, as a person and a boxer, a lot less...

on top of that if you watch the replay you will see that dirrell was leaning forward & the force of the blow pushed him up & back. He was stopped by the ropes & then fell to the side. If it wasn't for the ropes he wouldve fell str8 back. It was all one motion no pause & let me think about it moments. People only think that b/c of the slow motion replay

He definitely got knocked out cold. Which wasn't a huge punch, and it tells us a lot about Dirrell's punch resistance.

The man has a very suspect chin, and we all know alot fighter arent the same after a big knockout.

I hope he recovers and come back healthily but this little episode is probably gonna make him a very conservative fighter in the future.
