So what's next for Devon Alexander?

It seems very likely at this point that Tim Bradley will fight Maidana and Juan Diaz is locked for a rematch with JMM. I highly doubt Ortiz will be interested, assuming he beats Campbell because a bigger fight with Bradley or Maidana should be available later on this year. That just leaves Zab Judah and Spadafora from that list Cunningham mentioned before. Who do you think he'll fight next?

I am still not buying that Bradley-Maidana fight happening. I will believe that when I see it...

But, to answer your question I think it will be either Judah or Spadafora like you have mentioned.

Maidana is Ortiz' business after Campbell depending on how he does...GBP wants that rematch...I don't think Judah can hang anymore he needs a tune up...I can see Koltelnik or Alvarado taking on Alexander in late june or early july...This gives time for Alexander to watch the division clean its self up amd he gets a decent fight durring that time...

Alexander should fight Zab in a sold out HBO fight in the Lou.

Yeah I suppose if they're stay active fights then they're fine. But I'd like to see Zab get one more tune up before he fights a big name at 140. His last fight was a joke. Both he and Hernandez weighed in at like 145 (and he had the nerve to say that he trained very hard for the fight). I'm not completely convinced that he can make 140 effectively, and I'd really like to see him dominate in that division. I'd prefer if he and Alexander met further down the line, perhaps next year.

As for Spadafora, he's a bit too old now. As I said, he's fine for a stay busy fight and a decent name on Alexander's resume, but I'd prefer if Devon fought Kotelnik. He's a decent name at 140.
