What do you guys make of Paulie Malignaggi?

I havent seen many people talk about Paulie on the forum?

I like Paulie a lot, i like the way he uses the ring by fighting on outside and using the jab. I know he aint the strongest but he is a top class Jnr. Welterweight.

he's gonna beat Khan IMO.. Paulie has a pretty high workrate. The dude can easily pump his jab 60 times a round and mix 20-40 other punches in in the process.

His volume alone is why i tend to favor him over ahmir right now.

Im rootin for paulie just to stop the drama...everybody wants a piece of Khan, but khan wants none. he radher cherry picks.

I have a hard time believing that Malignaggi can ever be a top contender. He is lacking the essentials to put him over the top as a serious contender.

He's fast, but his footwork needs work, his punching power is laughable, and he gets hit quite a bit.

You would think that Ricky Hatton would be a dream matchup for Malignaggi. Ricky comes in, has little defense, and isn't the fastest guy out there.

Malignaggi is a "boxer," has "good D," and lots of speed but he got knocked out by Ricky.

If you can't beat Ricky Hatton, then you're really not that skilled of a boxer. A boxer will typically beat a brawler if he's good at his trade, but unfortunately for Malignaggi, he just lacks too much power and defense to be taken seriously.

Beating Juan Diaz isn't that impressive when it's the only good win on your resume.

Good and fast boxer that really insists with that jab.

He kinda slaps like Joe Calzaghe does when he tries to throw combinations. And I don't think he has any power in his right hand because of various hand injuries.

But he's pretty ****ing hillarious

I think Paulie is a B-Level fighter. Fortunately for him, I think Khan is a C-Level fighter. Paulie wins by close UD.
