when Dirrell knocked Abraham into the ropes with a left hook. That was the first KD that wasnt counted. The second was when Abraham caught him with a right. That should have been counted as well.Comment

The round 4 knockdown was correct. Even though Arthur was severly off balance, it was a clear knockdown and was counted as such.
The second "knock down" was a push. Dirrell pushed Arthur's neck with his elbow. It did have some power behind it, and at the moment did look like it could've been a punch. But definitely no knock down. One of the only good calls by the ref that night.
As for Dirrell falling down. I will have to say that was a knock down. If you take very careful look in slow motion from different angles, Dirrell raised his leg before touching Arthur's foot, missed it by about a millimeter. Arthur pulled his leg out just as Andre was falling back, so I can see how it could be mistaken for a knock down. In any case, he was already on his way down even if it grazed it. The only way to say 100% is to see footage from the right side of the ring at that moment, it would provide a level view of the canvas and see both feet from the side. If anybody can find this video, it'd be great. I just want this settled once and for all. The ref cannot be blamed for this, it happened so fast. And had he counted it as a knock down, the Dirrell fanboys would be up in arms over this injustice.
In Dirrell's defense, it was a flash knock down and he didn't seem too hurt by it, though it did give Arthur a much needed boost of confidence.Comment
