While the boxing world eagerly awaits the next instalment of the famed 24/7 series, which features series regular Floyd Mayweather Jr. and first timer "Sugar" Shane Mosley, the boxing press was given a link to preview the fifth episode of Showtime's series Fight Camp 360.

I think you have to consider the fact that there are SIX not 2 fighters involved plus at least 3 fights in the making or just past in each episode plus a **** load of other colorfull characters outside the fighters themselves that separates it from 24/7 with 2 fighters, 1 fight n I guess 2 trainers and also a main part is that these are guys we are only just getting to know where as 24/7 was with big names we already knew slightly n now its like Manny's been on 3 times? Floyd 4 times? so its gets old...but I do agree 360 is just an epic series I love that show, I love the tournament and I love everyone involved for giving great fights n putting themselves out there...thats what boxing is about baby. The writer is also right the lack of narraration gives it a more real and honest feel.

I haven't read the actual article cuz I didn't want to hear anything until I see it for myself but I think the writer was on the money, can't wait for the next episode...but I gotta say not as bad as MONEY VS MOSLEY. WAR BABY WARRRR!!!!

The best thing about it is we get to see stuff AFTER the fight, whereas 24/7 is really just a big pre-fight hype machine.

I always said I would love for HBO to have one last episode after the the fight, show us what goes down in the dressing room after the fight, etc.

And that's what 360 can give us.

I like em both. 360 should do an hour though, cause it covers so many more people. Only problem I have with it.

ИATAS206 yeah man thats a great point, there's even more anticipation for the after fight stuff than the pre fight...for isntance everyone wanted to see what was going on with Jermain after the AA fight and the same thing now with Dirrell which again is made possible because after one fight its not over, there's still many more to come. But your right it would be so sick if they would do an episode after the fight for 24/7...that would make it a more legit show n inside look at the sport than just a hype machine

I'm with you on that. It's easy to dump on the originator, but they are both very well done. Nothing makes you anticipate a fight more than 24/7. 360 is better at capturing the small things. Where it seems the fighters and their camps play to the camera in 24/7, I've seen some surprisingly private and personal moments in FC360. I get the feeling no one is watching FC360 though, and that it will be gone forever when this tournament is over.

The Fight Camp 360 is just scheduled horribly.

They should have them in the days leading up to the fight, not weeks after everything has happened.

Other than that I enjoy the show.
