We all know they are lining up Pacquiao to fight Margarito next. Why would Roach want someone else to beat him before they get to him? That would kill the fight.

Roach trains a lot of guys, I don't think people realize how many people he trains.
I seen Roach here on a small un-televised card in WA state a few months back and he was the head trainer for three of the guys, two of which barely had winning records and none of them were likely going anywhere in their careers.
I think roach just lives, eats, sleeps boxing. He's a trainer, that's his life; he'll pretty much train anyone.Comment

For sure, I totally get that, but this particular situation may have an adverse affect on his top fighter, the pound for pound number one fighter in the world, the one who he so meticulously choses who he's going to face next. I'm just saying...Roach trains a lot of guys, I don't think people realize how many people he trains.

Roach trains a lot of people but i don't think he really takes care of them, with great pro like Khan or Pacquiao, he doesn't have time for unexperienced fighters. He coaches them for the fight but i don't think he trains them on a regular basis. Others do it for him.Roach trains a lot of guys, I don't think people realize how many people he trains.

well obviously he's going to spend the most attention and time with the best of his stable, that goes without saying. I'm just saying he trains a lot of guys and especially when Pac/Khan don't have fights coming up, he's spending his time training other guys too.Roach trains a lot of people but i don't think he really takes care of them, with great pro like Khan or Pacquiao, he doesn't have time for unexperienced fighters.
