I'm surprised more boxing fans haven't noticed the somewhat obvious similarities between Andre Dirrel and Floyd Mayweather.

I think Dirrel idolizes Mayweather. He tries his hardest to mimic his style in the ring and from the sounds of it, he's mimicing Floyd outside the ring as well.

They both are from Michigan. Dirrel needs to find his own lane.

Yeah he was very immature in those scenes. The later episodes shows him as a good guy though.
