The Jack Johnson-Jess Willard title fight in 1915 was a 45 round fight, in other words, a fight to a FINISH. After 25 rounds Johnson was well ahead, (flabby, 37 years old) but had reached his stamina level and was KO's by Willard in the 26th rd (Willard, 32, 6' 6" tall).
THAT's stamina if you like.............
