    No Mas?!?

I can only recall three fighters who have actually given up in my lifetime...Duran, Freitas and Tszyu. It appears to me that all three lost the mental aspect of the prospective fights. I was shocked that Tszyu didn't come out for the final round. It appeared he was still in the fight. He apparantly didn't think so. Just out of curiousity, how do you guys think this "no mas" compares with the other two?

Chavez quit against De La Hoya...

Anyway, how does No Mas compare to those other two, I say No Mas was worse, because it's not like he was in danger of being stopped and it's not like he was getting destroyed, he was just getting outboxed..

I'll never forgive Roberto Duran for that bull****.

              Didn't Golota quit against Tyson?

And apparently Tzysu has a broken jaw.

McCall didn't actually quit, he just stopped throwing punches, he wasn't at all hurt, lewis caught him with a massive shot and he didn't even blink, that fight should have been a DQ not a TKO.

When I was younger I had some friends that worked closely with rollie Schwartz who is a legendary cincinnati area boxing figure. Manager, trainer, discoverer of talent..he headed up the great '76 Olympic team.
One guy that worked with Rollie also had close contacts with Duran's team. He knew that I was a big Duran fan and that I was stunned at his quitting. He told me what he said was the absolute truth about "No MAS". Quite simply put Roberto had a bad case of "Montezuma's Revenge" or common diahria. He felt that if he took very many more body shots he would lose control all over the squared circle.
                    So, you wise-ass brave mofos:
Given the same circmstances, what would you do? Quit.....or risk crapping all over yourself in front of millions. Keep in mind that this tape would be replayed forever and you would for the rest of your life be known as "the chump that Sugar Ray knocked the **** out of....LITERALLY"!
