Get real guys, randy hasn't been a "shooter" in a long time. His "wrestling" nowdays is the greco roman clinch, pin you against the fence, and dirty box or look for an opportunity to slam.

Before i'd say he'd lay n pray all day.. but he struggled to even get Verra to the ground in their last outting and in his last 5 fights (Sylvia, Ganzaga, Lesnar, Verra, Coleman) he stayed standing.

Both of em should just STFU and fight actual MMA ranked fighters like Great A said. Velazquez and Carwin would both **** em up. Couture gets knocked down in all of his fights and Big Country got KTFO by Arlovski.

Knowing that Nelson was scared to trade punches with Kimbo and took him down, i know he would dry hump him on the mat. Same thing for Couture who got knocked down twice by featherfisted shot legend Rodrigo Nogueira( who was a former amateur boxing champ in the HW division in Brazil).

well yeah, i mean everybody has a punchers chance in mma.... the gloves are smaller, so toney will have more power, but if the fight did happen between him in courture, then i doubt randy would stand-up with him.....

the gloves are pretty much the same as far as impact, gloves are smaller but still the same.. but to the point i agree toney has a puncher's chance.. but toney doesnt train, he isn't dedicated and is a fatty and will probably lose to either couture or nelson which is sad

Couture's chin is really bad, especially at this point, even zombie Mark Coleman managed to stun him in their last fight.

I really want to see Couture vs Toney. Its really a no lose situation for Toney, if he losses he losses to a MMA "legend" who is predominately a wrestler, he should expect to lose. But if he wins he beats one of the most recognized and respected MMA fighters in the world, someone who still headlines UFC PPVs. Couture is kinda like Hopkins but with a overrated record.

This would be a risk on UFC's part, because Couture losing will make the whole sport of MMA look really bad (yes, I do realize how meaningless the fight is in reality, but the average joe fan will eat it up). Roy Nelson is the safe choice for the UFC, he will probably win and even if he losses they will just play him off since he is a fat slob (even if he is a good fighter).
