Strategically, what could Tszyu have done different in the fight?

Strategically, what could Tszyu have done different in the fight?

Hindsight in this case is easy, but midway through the fight i thought that Kostya should try to play matador and take a step to the left or right as Hatton barreled into him for the 856th time. If Kostya did this every other time Hatton's timing could be disrupted and maybe Kostya could have nailed him flush with a right as the different angles produced as a result of the pivots would have created seams for punches.

Kind of hard to 2nd guess, though, Becasue i'm sure Kostya thought he would have plenty of times to nail Hatton as he came in carelessly time after time.

The only thing he could have done differently is not allow a ref who has made a career of officiating in one capacity or another in Hatton fights be the ref.

        I agree with both...!!
I really feel Tszyu made the choice to fight Hatton at his own game, and lost.

IMO he just looked too sluggish and wasnt busy enough.

When someone is always pushing forward, you have to stick a hard jab into the face. Tszyu used to do this well, however it was nowhere to be seen against Hatton.

The start is the most important. Shouldn't have gave Hatton much time to bounce around the ring, Tszyu start was disappointing, well not his best anyway.

He souldnt have tried to wrestle with Hatton. I think Tszyu realized this after the fight "never so tired in career". He should have stood back a bit and not fought so close. He could not get off his right hand becase Hatton was smothering too much. He should have tried to get a bit of distance and keep Hatton from rushing in.
