    Adam Booth

with each fight, be it Haye or Groves, i give more respect to Adam Booth.

This man is a truly great trainer, and indeed manager.

As a trainer he is meticulous in the science of boxing, he studies opponents intensely, and leaves no stone unturned. He, like Haye and Groves, improves with each fight.

As a manger, there is 100% trust with his fighters. He truly wants the best for them, and intelligently guides their careers.

Whilst we can gorge on the future of boxing with its emerging stars and superstars, Adam Booth is a solid blue print for the future of coaching and managing boxers

Terrible trainer, so good he cant iron out ALL! of Haye's balance, technique problems? Haye's defense is also terrible.

Haye is technically flawed and has some of the worst balance of almost any fighter today.

oh yeah, he's terrible, i mean he's only guided Haye to the unified cruiserweight championship of the world and current WBA heavyweight champion of the world and the only exciting HW currently active, and done all this in just 25 fights. Not to mention guide George Groves to the commonwealth title in just 9 fights.

oh yeah, apart from all that, what the fcuk has he done? He's clearly a terrible trainer. You tit.

Any self respecting trainer worth their salt would not produce, well not be able to pin point and recognize Haye's mistakes and correct them.

You obviously have no clue what your watching, bye.

I don't think Booth is terrible, but I understand where DK is coming from.

What he's saying is that Booth hasn't corrected any of Haye's flaws, such as his technique, balance, defense, etc.

There are also some things Groves does that is a bit reminiscent of Haye.

I think his point is that a great trainer would've fixed them by now.

Do you know how hard it is to correct a fighters' mistakes? Let alone the mistakes of a fighter that has an extensive amateur career (100+ fights).

Pasty did go overboard on calling Booth a great trainer though. Great in boxing is another realm, held for more proven trainers, that have more than 1 or 2 champions.

Its not that hard if the fighter wants to improve and you HL the things he is doing wrong, its not like Haye has a Ricky Hatton type of style that your trying to turn into a slickster.
