did you read my asterisk? It clearly said that if hatton could make the most money boxing at home, good for him, he should continue to do so. Never did I say that hatton v cotto would make more in the US. Do you think it wouldnt do as good in San Juan, Puerto Rico though? Why doesn't hatton go there?

Again, it's become a 'cliche' in boxing because in general, thats where the most money is. Barrera, Morales, Pac, Marquez, Trinidad... they all started out fighting in their own country, but came to the US because of the bucks. they all have huge fan bases in the states because they fight over here, correct. but the fact is that they were able to leave their home country and fight the best, which is why they are respected.
