boxing complaint letter reply for the BBC

Dear Mr Bailey Thanks for your e-mail. I understand you believe there is a lack of coverage of boxing on BBC which you feel has become more of an issue in recent years. Whilst we would like to provide as much boxing coverage as we possibly can the rights market remains very competitive and we often find it difficult to compete with other broadcasters who specialise in sports coverage. The BBC has a limited budget to spread across many different areas of output such as drama, news, documentaries and sport. Nevertheless, I appreciate you would like to see more coverage of boxing and I would like to assure you that I've registered your feelings about this matter on our audience log. This is the internal report of audience feedback which we compile daily for all programme makers and commissioning executives within the BBC, and also their senior management. It ensures that your points, and all other comments we receive, are circulated and considered across the BBC. Thank you once again for taking the trouble to share your views with us. Regards Ross MontgomeryBBC Complaints____________________________
