I have to give props for Ronnie N. for always reminding us that Manny Pacquiao is still the reigning pound for pound king and "fighter of the decade". You guys have no idea when I wake up, the first thing on my mind is "damn ive been asleep for 8 hours, I hope Pac didn't lose his fight" or "golly gee, i hope the publications and boards havent changed their minds that pacquiao is the fighter of the decade!". Well this just proves how pointless these test are. The fight has been signed since Jan and they are just now taking their first random. Anybody who knows how doping works, knows that athletes would have cycled clean by know and would stay free from use until their actually event (while still having the advantages of PED use).

I know Shane and Floyd are clean as a whistle, but Mosley has been in camp since December and both him and Floyd train year round. Lets say they did use, all they would have to do is use them prior to signing the contract and even up until they start there official training camp, cycle out, test clean during these random test, and still have the benefits of PED use.

Until we have year round, commission based testing, all these test and **** are in vain. Just some FYI for those truly wanting the sport cleaned.

Let me type this again for those who are slow....

even if these test are done as soon as the fight is signed, athletes could still use PED's leading up to the time the agree to testing, cycle out, test clean and still get the benefits of PED use.

Baseball players do this all the time with steroids, as well as other athletes which is why they haven't been caught using stuff like HGH, EPO etc. Year round testing is the only way to crack down on cheaters and even WADA and other Anti-Doping organizations acknowledge this.

But I know you guys are fixated with Pac and your ****riding is blinding basic logic......so have fun with this article

mayweather like him or not is right about random blood and drug tests in boxing because it's different to other sports your health and life is on the line and if your clean doesn't matter when they can test u right? if anyone thinks other wise please explain it to me

bleh... i still wonder about his motives for "attempting to clean up the sport".... either way, its BOXING. its corrupt, its all about politics... WE LOVE IT. frankly, olympic tests or not, these fights need to be made. DAMN i miss the days of aaron pryor, hagler, & duran.... they wouldnt give a SH** about tests, no excuses... they would just whoop some a**. MORE BLACK BOTTLES FOR EVERYONE. LOL.

but seriously, olympic testing costs $$$.... and its a private company being HIRED to run the tests. blah blah blah.... is it good for boxing? why not? it couldnt hurt.... but even all the experts admit it isnt fool proof. there is still ways around it.
