I completely agree with this. It's going to take a definitive stoppage to put Mayweather back on top. P4P is more public opinion than anything else, and I would say the majority of the public gets more out of a pacquiao performance than a mayweather performance. Yes, I purposefully said performance over event. Currently, mayweather gets more publicity, but for reasons not related to p4p status. It's more to see what the other person can do as opposed to what he can do.
The difference right now is that pacquiao tends to give a definitive answer with each fight, where mayweather doesn't necessarily.
I hope he does...I hope mayweather puts on a good show. If he does then he might squeak ahead of pacquiao. And even the, I wouldn't gloat to quickly, as another dominating/devastating victory by pacquiao could easily ebb the tide.
