Hey man I'm not a know it all.From what I remember May wanted to fight Mosley when he was a jr LW moving up and Mosley was moving up to fight Hoya No?Then after beating Gatti he said he wanted to fight Mosley and Hoya again but was not even a WW so how was he chasing Mosley who at that(correct me if I'm wrong)at jr MW.So when I'm naming guys like Spinks Forest Mayorga is cause they were WW and if he was chasing Mosley why he did not fight none of umm?

The fight was being mentioned while Shane was still at LW, prior to his move up to fight Wilfredo Rivera. But there were never any serious negotiations.

Well that's Mosley's only chance of victory. With that strategy, Mosley gets his head boxed off.

No matter how you slice it, Mayweather makes Mosley look every bit of 38 on May 1st, and after he does, watch the excuses fly.

Pre fight: "No way Mayweather has an easy time with Shane."

Post fight: "Mosley is 38 years old and well past his prime."

oh without a doubt. The only way people see Mosley winning is by knockout or a bunch of combos? didn't mosley gas out against cotto? And isn't that one of the main excuses people say Mayweather beat Judah and Oscar? Mayweather has never been knockedout or knocked down and yet Mosley is just gonna go in there throw a hook and knock him out. People are crazy. People talk about pressure and jabbing as a way to beat Mayweather yet Mayweather has fought those fighters and has never lost. So there logic makes no sense. Post fight I see a humble Mosley in the ring talking about how good his career was and how great Mayweather truly is and then retiring.

Marquez fought Mayweather didn't he? Did he go up to challenge any junior welterweights first? So I don't understand your logic.

Had Corrales been focused, things would have been different. Corrales was WAYYYY distracted last night.. he wasn't even paying attention to the fight.. he kept looking at himself on the big screen. Plus word had it he was to be arrested right after that fight for domestic abuse. I don't know if Mosley has that kind of distractions. The only thing going against Mosley is his age and inactivity.

All I had to do was read the first two pages of this thread to be reminded of why I don't post here. People claiming PBF wil impose his bigger size on Mosley. People saying PBF will get a gift decision ala PBF vs. Corrales against Mosley. And worst of all, people using PBFs win against Marquez as an example what he will do to Mosley. I'm not a PBF hater or a Mosley nuthugger, but I do keep some perspective based in reality.
