Will there ever be another Roy Jones? Probably not. He was the greatest fighter of his generation, levels above the competition.

Thanks for all you brought to the sport. Hope you will be as successfull outside as inside the ring.

All good things come to an end. To me Roy is still the best that every did it, and no one till this day can do the things that you did in the ring. Hopefully Roy will still be involved in boxing in some way either as a trainer or getting behind the mic once again, because he has tons of boxing knowledge and could help out up and coming fighters.

What's really weird to me about the Hopkins loss is quite simply this: When Roy Jones elected at any time to be aggressive and actually pull the trigger, he would take over for those moments. It's just a shame that he only has that ability for a few seconds of each round.

Hopkins had to basically hold Jones to win the fight. His legacy is already solid, but he shouldn't feel too proud of this contest; nor should Jones feel too upset about it.

Whatever Roy decides to do, I wish him the best of luck. He's had a fantastic career. If he does fight, I hope it's against a lesser opponent that he can blow out, then retire.
