Does anything after P4P #1 matter?

Say for example, if someone goes around saying "this guy is badass, he's P4P #5 in the world of boxing". Does anyone really care? In my opinion there's too many deciding factors which makes a ranking system damn near impossible and totally objective after the top 2 or 3. The only thing I know for sure is that Pacquiao and Mayweather are the top 2 P4P in the world at the moment, and anything after that just becomes a little blurred and unimportant.

If anything, the whole p4p list doesn't matter. Too many people with too many different opinions.

The Klitschko's are not rated top pound 4 pound and they are the biggest names in the HW division, that is the goal for every fighter to face one of them.
