Maybe not a clean KO, but I can see Tua quitting on his stool sometime in the ninth or tenth which, disappointing though it is, would be a pretty big deal considering he's never been stopped before. It's certainly not outside the realms of possibility. Unlike Chambers, he'd be getting hit by practically everything Wlad threw.Comment

Paul, there's such a thing as being too picky, and that's what that is. You can't fault a guy for knocking a guy out too late...LOL.
Chambers was TRYING not to get knocked out and that was his only purpose in a fight and the dude has THE best defense at heavyweight, PERIOD!Comment

Agreed about Rahman. That was a pretty lackadaisical effort from Wlad. Still Chambers has a pretty decent defence, something which Tua does not. Wlad would be able to land pretty much everything he threw, and even if they were just jabs, that all adds up. The fight would look very similar to the second Brewster fight I think, Tua plodding slowly foward getting hit flush in the chin with jab, jab, right hand, taking shot after shot after shot, occasionally throwing a wild left hook that misses by miles, and eventually getting pulled out of the fight sometime in the latter stage when his corner realises he hasn't got a hope in hell of winning.Comment

If he does ever fight Wlad I hope he grows back that funky hairstyle he had for the Lewis fight. Watching the replays of it swaying back and forth as Wlad's fists crash into his dome would be a sight to see I think.Comment
