I will admit that Hatton would have problems with Mayweather, but as much as I love Gatti I think Hatton would have the greater power in that instance... particularly as historically Gatti is more suseptible to body shots than any other areas.

Biggest load of rubbish I have ever heard. To be honest, I am surprised we are hearing these cissy cries from so many of the people here.

As you all can see, I have only been here a short time; but reading through the boards it is apparent that most of the people here are knowledgeable boxing fans.

So let's not dishonour either of these very good figters by turning what was an exciting fight into a silly squabble of excuses.

I didn't give Ricky chance. To my mind, he has proved he can not only hack it at world level but also that he can deal it out.

This will also be a fantastic confidence builder for him - which will further carry him into some big showdowns with some of the divisions younger hotshots.

There could be some really memorable fights awaiting us.

As fans, let's enjoy them. This fight was good for boxing in Britain - despite the few low blows. Other than a few minor discrepencies both men are a an absolute credit to the sport.
