it's obvious he wasn't hurt by those punches. my point is his punches don't hurt like they did at cruiserweight.

If they did Haye would have two KO's under his belt as a HW right now....

exactly. just look at valuev then look at enzo mac. it doesn't take bert sugar to realize his punches aren't gonna catch the bigger guy's attention as much.

It's not as good but it's still very good at HW, not many have had Valuev stumble like a drunk or had Ruiz down so many times. I think tbh after he didn't get Ruiz out of there in round 1 he was a bit scared of how is gassed going for the KO in round 1.. for round 2-3 he didn't look great and ws breathing heavy. So he seemed to box more cleverly rather then rushing in for a KO..

I think he could do with losing 10 or so pounds tbh, dunno tho the guy didn't have great sparring due to a cut so.. he still did good and is one of the harder punchers in my book..

So what? Aside from Manny I can't think of too many fighters whose P4P power has followed them up and increased.

I don't understand these suggestions that Haye doesn't have HW power because he didn't starch Ruiz - Rahman-style. A guy who has only been seriously hurt by Tua. And in that fight he walked onto the punch.

In two fights he's put genuine heavies down nine times (one of whom has a brick for a chin). Who else at HW is doing that right now?

                9. If Haye could not finish a beat to **** Ruiz....it's obvious Haye is not ready to face a Klit...cuz Ruiz ain't no Klit...

                10. RUIZ IS STILL A PILE

                TRUE STORY!
Ruiz had only been stopped one other time in his career. 14 years ago. Haye is the only Valuev opponent to seriously hurt him. Haye has KO power.

Do you realize how big Valuev is? And when has Valuev ever been knocked out by anybody?

define heavyweight power. i said he can still knock guys out, but he's not starching people anymore. the first knockdown of ruiz was the only legitimate one from what i remember. the others were ruiz falling over himself to avoid pressure or rabbit punches.
