    Can you imagine...Gatti.......-..........Hatton......::drools:::

    This fight may not come off anytime soon after Mayweather spanks Gatti....

    but man what a fight this would be...I would be willing to put $100 real dollars down on the fact that it would be better than Cor/Cast and Gatti/Ward combined...

    I've been saying for awhile this fight would be great. Don't know about the relationship between Showtime and Hatton, though. Gatti's an HBO fighter, and after Gatti's people said there's no way Gatti-Tszyu would happen because of the rival networks, I imagine the same situation would be true with Hatton.

    Still Showtime let two or three HAtton fights go on without being televised.

    Anyone know if this was a one-fight deal or if Showtime has Hatton under contract?

        I can not imagine Gatti/Hatton for one reason and one reason only: I see no reason why the winner of a superfight (Hatton) would want to fight the loser of a superfight (Gatti) when they are in the same division. After Mayweather beats Gatti as he certainly will, then we will see a bout of Mayweather vs Hatton for the throne at 140 with Cotto the young gun in waiting (assuming he wins next weekend).

          I agree, I mean why would Hatton want a shot at the loser of that fight as opposed to the winner. That being said, Tyrant you make some good points as far as if that fight ever did take place it could have the makings of a classic. At this point though, I don't see it happening.

            I am with you on this one. He might want a "walk-over" nice easy fight as a tune up for Mayweather?
