good move david...i want to see haye fight the klitschkos and the winner of Meehan/Chagaev then maybe the winner of adamek/arreolaWBA heavyweight champion David Haye has no interest in answering the challenge of Bernard Hopkins. Both of them fought on Saturday, with Haye stopping John Ruiz in Manchester and Hopkins winning a decision over Roy Jones Jr. in Las Vegas. After the fight was over, Hopkins, a light heavyweight, told reporters he was going to move up in weight by two divisions to fight Haye. [Click Here To Read More]Comment

Not a big fan of B-Hop anymore but this is an gutsy move if it happens - Haye is younger, faster and has serious power - if this fight happens and B-Hop pulls it somehow off he should really be considered one of the greatest evers. It's not that Haye is such a great Heavyweight - but he is fast and younger, two thinks that Bernard can only handle hard and then he has this power... if this happens you can't deny Hopkins his balls - Bernard would also have to go probably 12 rounds, he is not an old hitter like Foreman was - so this would be unbelievable.WBA heavyweight champion David Haye has no interest in answering the challenge of Bernard Hopkins. Haye doesn't want to lose to a 45 year old blown up heavyweight that would be an embarrassment to the heavyweight divisionComment

No way Hopkins can put that much muscle mass on himself. AT 215, he would look like a fat ass, because it would have to be fat, and not only muscles to get there. I don't think they could get much higher than 185-190 pounds.
And since Hopkins already has stamina issues (as we could see in his fights aginst Calzaghe and Jones where he was acting to get rests), the additionnal weight would only hurt him. Hopkins should just retire.
I don't think Hopkins is only looking for a last payday. I believe he wants to tie Jones achievements by becoming HW champion, to get out of his shadow for good.Comment
