Comments Thread For: CompuBox Analysis: Hopkins-Jones: Behind The Numbers

The rematch between Bernard Hopkins and Roy Jones ultimately had the most predictable ending – a lopsided victory for “The Executioner” – but the route it took getting there certainly was not. [Click Here To Read More]

No surprise here. Same outcome that would have happened if they fought 9 years ago.

Hopkins should retire on a ''high''. Roy Jones jr should fight some bum so he doesn't have to retire on a Hopkins loss as a man that is somewhat shameful.

Fight was trash like I expected it would be.

He's right, it would have always been a boring fight at all times in their career. The only difference probably would have been the outcome.

Hopkins can't get past Roy's posturing, feints, and counter punches. Roy can't get past Hopkins' feints, countering and defensive ability. And both of them do and try everything not to get hit.

What makes them great against other fighters, make for a terrible fight when they fight each other.
