I bet 20 bucks on Adamek over Arreola, what is your take?

i think Adamek outboxes Arreola, stays out of harms way but still puts on a spirited and entertaining fight. I think Adamek by wide UD. However, I have not seen that many Adamek fights. What do you guys think?

well I think Adamek might win by KO possibly as he is heavy handed and somewhat quick if he can land in combination and get out of harms way I think he will pull it off. But in the past he hasnt really been that hard to find either so he may get dropped and KOd himself. Should be a good one Im rooting for Adamek.

so its a pick em fight then? those are the best, i was just hoping i was delusional for putting 20 on adamek. I am really just throwing down the money to get further enjoyment out of the fight. always funner when you are ******** right?

I actually agree with you on everything but the 6 round prediction.

Arreola has deceptive power for a Heavyweight and people write him off for losing to Vitali Klitschko so badly but he actually impressed me in that fight. The sheer determination and durability showed by Arreola is enough by itself to beat a lot of good heavyweights.

Adamek, who I really like, just isn't a heavyweight. He was not impressive against Estrada and Arreola is at least 2 steps up. Adamek is also not as invincible in the chin department as many believe. He was staggered twice by Steve Cunningham who is not a big hitter at Cruiserweight and I don't doubt that Arreola can hurt him if he puts a couple shots together.

Arreola will use his physical advantages to bully Adamek and force exchanges where Arreola's superior power will be evident to all. I expect a TKO victory for Arreola late in the fight.

Arreola fought a great fight with Vitali and did not look gassed. If he shows up in the same or better shape, he could give trouble to Adamek.

A related question -- when will American HWs, incl. Areola, start showing up in shape for their fights?
