I was cruising around the internet and I go to the HBO boxing website and their poll is "what do you expect the outcome of Gatti/Mayweather to be?" so I choose Mayweather by KO and continue about my business... That is until I see that the most voted for option is Gatti by KO! Are these people out of their minds? Is the casual boxing fan that disconnected from reality? Is this what the world is coming to? Gatti by knockout the favored result?!? I have lost faith in humanity...

Although I think that Mayweather will win on points, Gatti by Ko is still a possibility. Arturo is naturally bigger and stronger than Mayweather. Also keep in mind that Castillo and Corley rocked Mayweather in their fights, and I think that Gatti is stronger than Corley. Not too sure about Castillo because I have not seen him at 140.

I forgot to say that I am rooting for Gatti.

I am not suprised that there will be some poor misguided souls such as yourself who would wander from the path of truth and pick Gatti to KO Floyd. But to have that be the favored outcome according to voters? That I simply cannot process.

This is how the Gatti vs Mayweather fight will look

Gatti will land the jab effecitvely in the early rounds. Floyd will land some effective combos in the early rounds. Around round 5 Mayweather will start to hurt Gatti. Gatti will then get pissed off and abandon the jab. In Round 7 Gatti lands a hallacious left hook to the liver. Mayweather goes down for the first time in his career. He gets up, though still extremely hurt. Gatti at once rushes him, he lands a straight right to the head and then follows it with a hallacious left hook to the head followed by another hellacious left hook to the body. Mayweather again goes down. Gatti stands over his limp broken corpse and says "how do you like that boy!" than rushes to the neutral corner. The referee reaches the count of 10. Gatti wins by KO in the 7th.

Tell you what, I previously had this deal going with somebody else but I doubt they took it all that serious and frankly I am a shifty character. If Gatti wins the fight (by either KO or decision) then I will give you every point that I have (or half if the other guy I said this to, whoever he may be, actually remembers when I said this previously). I am not even suggesting that we bet, just that I am this confident Gatti is in for a beating. In any event...

Again, I can understand somebody picking Gatti, or even a bunch of people picking Gatti. But I cannot, will not, and will never understand that being the most chosen option!
