This is awsome! Go see it. It's a little bit like the Rocky movies except more realistic. The fights actually look more real than the contender. Boxer's actually know what Defence is, its incredible!

The characters are a little played up. Max Bear is ****ing an evil villan, that would give Darth Vader a run for his money. Russel Crow basically is the same dude he played in Gladiator except that he's Irish.

The movie has a good story and deals alot with his family and the depression but actually has an encredible amount of fighting in it. Probably 40 minuets of the movie is in the ring!


In short this movie is awsome for boxing fans, maybe not so awsome for Girlfriends and stuff, but who cares?

Rusell Crowe may be a prick in real life but when it comes to acting only Denzel is more talented than him.. The Gladiator was a ****in great depiction of just how ****ing cultivated and bad ass Italians were bACk in the Roman Empire.. I cant wait to see that movie, thanks Joe Boxer!!

I also saw this movie with my girlfriend yesterday. Not only did I think it was a great movie, so did my girlfriend. I would definately tell every boxing fan and nonboxing fan to see this movie.
