Mosley fought a prime Cotto and that fight was very close, some even believing Mosley deserved the decision or a draw.

Pacquiao fought a version of Cotto who Roach admitted "Didn't look that good since taking punishment from Margarito", and at a catch-weight. Roach also admitted that Mosley is too good for Pacquiao to fight at the 147lb limit, which is why they turned him down twice.
