Haye was ****e yesterday but the commentators siad otherwise...
pretty much everyone is surprised froch became world champion, he has a very amateurish syule and lots of flaws but its to his credit he accomplished as much as he has with just heart and durability. none the less its against all odds he managed to become world champion, i wouldnt expect someone as delsusional as yourself to see that.

haye wasnt **** last night, he wasnt great eighter but certainly not ****. decent performance, got hit way too much but he still got the job done in style.

I think Ian Darke is OK. At least he has been in the fights I've heard. First time I heard him was in Tyson-Douglas (live). He was excellent there I think.
I think Darkie is good for excitement as a blow by blow man but you dont get much from him from a tactical stand point, although i dont mind that so much as i like commentators to make the fight seem more exciting, thats why i dont mind Gus Johnson besides him not being very clued up on Boxing and being a bit of a homer when its a Showtime fighter.

BTW Darkie cannot score a fight imo.

As a blow-by-blow guy he should just put words to what happens and provide the appropriate level of exitement. Just off the bat I cannot remember any blow-by-blow guy giving a good scoring on a consistent basis.

BITD Jim Watt was excellent in analysing fights IMO. Has he slipped?

It'd be nice for Jim Watt is get off the fence and give an opinion of what's going on.

My problem with what Watt is when he makes a point he bemoans the point constantly throughout the fight, its like he is constantly nagging, he says stuff like " see Ian no jab what so ever" but he will say it like a 1000x and your like, yeah we know Jim we heard you there first 500 times you said it, he also says **** on the chin all the while Lol, a shot could land on the temple and he would say" full bloodied shots **** on the chen!!

Our commentary in the UK is awful compared to our US counterparts, that's why i'm glad that for Primetime PPV fights they just stream the Showtime broadcast so that we get exactly the same as the US. The Sky commentators are too biased and are acting as though they are still trying to sell the fight to us even though we have already paid and are watching the fight they're trying to sell.
