Roy showed that he is completely gun shy now and very little lateral movement left in his legs.

Being a big Roy fan watching this was more depressing than any of the knockouts because he wouldn't even take a chance during times when Hopkins was wide open for shots.

I know Hopkins is known for setting traps but I couldn't even keep track of how many times Roy should have landed 'or at least tried' to land a hook on Hop's chin.

Roy did show a few VERY small spurts of movement but for the most of the fight he just stood in front of Hop doing chicken feints that he should have known Hopkins wouldn't fall for.

Roy before moving back down to heavyweight had the speed and reflexes to always beat Hopkins. No matter when they fought Roy would be too hard to hit for Hopkins and be able to land more.

LMAORTF Roy was YOUNGER than Hopkins, Roy was nowhere near his prime, Roy reached his prime when he hit 68. Prime Roy KO's Hopkins.

The difference is Roy doesn't have the reflexs or speed that he once had to out point and outbox B-hop the way he did in there first fight... That an he was fighting on an empty tank...nothing left...but the shell of what he once was -- against a guy who has aged like a fine wine with most of his skills still being just as good as they where 6-7 years ago.

What's interesting is how much Hops fights in a manner similar to Roy - using several of his moves. Been saying it for years (even as Jones has been saying the same thing) but I think it was very apparent Saturday night.

Apart from the fact that Hopkins had two more professional bouts than Roy Jones Jr going into their first fight.

                    His right hand?

                    Right - left hook combo?

                    Hands low?

                    Startingly similar feints?

Roy wasn't prime and Hopkins wasn't completely inexperienced.
