If prime Roy was in the Super Six Tournament.

I would love to agree with you man but I just don't know. I think Froch would be the hardest fight for a prime Jones Jr. Jones would outpoint him most likely but I'd say Froch has a chance at beating him if he would just press forward and keep throwing that vicious right hand...I think eventually he would maybe catch Roy, but we never saw Roy really get hit flush when he was 'peaked', so who knows...in any case like I said, I feel Froch's style and physique etc would be most trouble for him out of the super six. Abe would get soundly outboxed (more so than Froch, I feel) and I feel that between Abe and Froch, Froch is the man who would say, '**** it, I don't care if I take 10 to land 1, I'm gettin in a shot on this dude'
I also feel Froch would be the most resilient than others to a prime Jones Jr's arsenal
And, yes, I am AmericanComment

I like how Froch doesn't care about what happens to him. The guy takes risks, and it's rare to see that on that level, a direct comparison would always have Roy being superior...but Froch just lunges in sometimes with his chin up and doesn't even care if he gets hit, and he can do that because he's got a good chin and behind that, a mentality that WILL get up...While Jones is far more agile and athletically superior, it's a given that Froch holds the edge in power. The raw truth is, and it sucks because he's a legend and one of my favorites, but the amount of time that Roy Jones Jr. was in his prime, he never fought a fighter like Froch.Last edited by Frighteous; 04-04-2010, 12:18 PM.Comment

If Roy was to participate in a super-six the other five would have been Tony Thornton, Antoine Byrd, Danny Garzia, Eric Lucas and the formidable Vinny Pazienza.
He wouldn't have it any other way. Roy would look unbeatable.Comment
