Trinidad KO's Norris. Norris could box like nobody's business but he'd stop like he did against the Hawk and that's not a good idea for a guy with a chin like his against a puncher like Tito.
Trinidad vs. Norris. What Happened?

This friggin' idiot replied just for the sake of it. It was clear that he did not know crap about this match.
what happened was that norris was waiting for de la hoya to step up , but he waited too much and got KOed by keith mullings . so tito stepped back to 147Comment

How would you describe your fight with Trinidad?
It was a mistake due I can't give him any credit because he cheated. He hurt in the first round. He doesn't have punching power. He has been rapping his hands illegally.
Your thoughts on Hopkins-Trindad fight?
Bernard Hopkins exposed him. He has been winning his fights by cheating and his father has been doing this for him all this time. They have been cheating all his career.
You were in the dressing room when the national anthem was going on? Why did you decide to be in the lockroom at that time?
I don't even remember that.
Did you get a chance to watch your fight Trinidad over since?
No, I don't wanna see it.Comment

Tito - To Cheat or not to Cheat
By J. Chris Gonzalez
Let's look at what has been reported. First, Fisher said the left hand was already wrapped when he got to the room, NOT the right hand as some fans have claimed. What difference does it make anyway? THAT is cheating! Left hand, right hand IT'S CHEATING!
Everybody knows that a member of the opposite camp MUST be present during hand wrapping. The fact that the commissioner signed off on it means nothing because this is the same commission that handled the Leija-Pink glove wonder (Camacho Jr.) situation so beautifully.
This is the same commission (NY) that was scrutinized just a short time before X-Tito for its incompetence. Why are people holding boxing commissions (especially NY) in such high esteem? It must be because they have impeccable and some of the GREATEST track records right?
Trinidad fans have stated that the Nevada Commission would never allow the Trinidad's to cheat but no one is suggesting they "allowed" them to cheat. Let's remember, this is the same commission that allowed Hamed's camp to stand in front of a member of Barrera's camp as they wrapped his hands. This is the same state that has some of the worst judges in the history of mankind. This is the state that has been a part of some of the biggest highway robbery decisions in boxing history.
All you have to know about Nevada is during every fight in Las Vegas we get to hear Larry Merchant say, regarding a controversial decision, "this is Las Vegas." Just because they made a stand against Mike Tyson does not mean they aren't influenced by money and other forces and have become a credible entity within boxing.
One decision against a potential psychopath doesn't relieve them of all their faults. Nor does it mean that an individual can not be influenced. Let's be honest "payoffs" in boxing are the norm and not the exception.
Now, Fisher said "they almost needed the jaws of life to get the wraps off." He also said his hand was layered.. which is also ILLEGAL. Illegal=cheating! Hey some people need that extra edge, more power to him. I always say if you ain't cheating then you ain't trying... or better yet win if you can, lose if you must but ALWAYS cheat. BUT!!!! They got caught.
Furthermore, Papa Trinidad said he ALWAYS wraps his fighters hands the same.. hence if it was illegal THIS time then it was illegal EVERY time. Does Tito need that advantage? I don't know.. does this make him 0-41? No, but does it taint his career? In my opinion YES! I'd be a fool to ignore this and believe otherwise.
I suggest we all reserve FINAL judgment for his next fights... if he shows little power like he did vs X then I think that is the red flag indicator, but if he still has great power, well then obviously he didn't need the "hammer."
All I'm trying to say is, don't ignore the facts and don't rush to judgment. However, to suggest that this should be swept under the rug is merely a tactic of someone who doesn't want their hero exposed and is avoiding the subject in hopes that it goes away and is forgotten. After all nobody wants to remember their hero as an overrated, one-dimensional cheater.

Second, Trinidad's handwraps were checked out prior to the Mayorga fight(days before the Trinidad camp showed the tecnique) and we all know that Trinidad showed power in that fight. don't tell me that Mayorga was out of his weight class because, still, Mayorga had never even been stunned in a fight before. Also Trinidad is not a legitimate middleweight. He is a Jr. Middle at best who started fighting at 140 pounds.
I must also add that it is one of the most biased articles I have ever read. Disgraceful to make such idiotic assumptions and try to make them look as facts. Seems like the writer got you with it.Last edited by Exciterx30; 06-04-2005, 07:33 PM.Comment
