Old School Fantasy Fight: Hearns vs. Mugabi

I know this should be on Fantasy Fights, but I like it better here. What do you think would have happened if that beast, named John Mugabi, had faced Tommy Hearns at 160? I am a huge Hearns fan, but I don't think that Tommy could have done much against the Mugabi that went to hell with Marvin Hagler. However, the Hearns that Koed Durán made history and was also a beast, but that was at 154. Anyways, any comments or reactions??

I don't think Hearns could have handled someone who was so relentlessly agressive as Mugabi. Hearns would have start the fight laying some serious leather on him to break him down and box himself to a decision in the later part of the fight, but the way I really see it going is Hearns getting stopped in the 7th.

mugabi by devastating KO! I like hearns alot but his chin would not handle the beast, I mean hearns could not handle haglers punches what makes you think he can handle mugabi?

The reason he(Hearns) lost to Hagler was because he went toe to toe...

            Hearns could easily outbox Mugabi..

Hearns was still ungodly powerful at 154. The only reason he didnt put Hagler down at 160 is because, well, its Marvin Hagler we're talking about. Mugabi was also excellent at this weight and had underrated skills in my opinion, but Hearns would take a fairly comfortable UD or late stoppage if he caught him right down the stretch. Mugabi had a good chin and Hearns had a better chin sub-154 than most people give him credit for.

Hearns UD in a good action fight.
