Who cares? It's not the ethnicity, it's the style. Rocky Juarez, Juan Diaz, Josh Clottey, and Alfredo Angulo are all boring ass fighters who get beat 9 out of 10 times by boxer-punchers.

Remember when Oscar didn't get any love from the Mexicans because he wasn't "Mexican" enough? Maybe if he let himself get hit more and lost some of the speed, they'd have been happy. Who knows.

The Mexican trainers tend (generally) to coach their guys in a really heavily offensively orientated style. Means you are a bit open, but can be very effective, because you rack up points based on the high workrate and aggression.

Even the Mexican technicians like JMM and Rafa are pretty offensive and open to be hit (although JMM used to be a bit tidier when he was younger)

Mexicans are always good to watch though, and just because you are a very offensive guy who gets hit doesn't mean you can't have good technique and skills.

Seriously, even if you're an elite at being a Mexican (as in the style of fighting), EVERY style beats them. If you did the stats, it would probably be 10-1. Do they not have TV's to see how to fight?
