I'D LOVE LOVE LOVE TO SEE HOPKINS LACE EM UP WITH HAYE. But there ain't enough time on Haye schedule ya kno? It's gonna go Haye vs. either Valuev or Klitschko cuz he has to face Valuev due to rematch clause, then which ever one he didn't face, and then a mandatory Chagaev due to WBA, and then maybe Hopkins. So Hopkins is 4th in line right now which means 2012 if Haye doesn't retire by then.

If Hopkins went into a time machine that brought him to his 30s then maybe this fight wouldn't look completely ******ed...Hopkins would probably lose to Dawson, so how the heck would he be able to beat someone with that speed and skill, but deadly punching power and who would probably weigh 30lbs more than him on fight night?

I think he'd be crazy to pursue that fight. He seems to be sensible by not challenging the Klitschko's saying their too big and powerful for him but would Haye be any different?

I don't think he ever wanted to fight Haye. I think it has more to do with getting crap off his back from ducking Dawson.

If the fight doesn't happen then it will kind of look like he used David Haye as an excuse to avoid Dawson like you are saying. But if Hopkins does fight Haye the haters couldn't say ****.
