This would have been a great matchup.. My gut tells me that JMM would have countered the hell out of Nas.. But then again, I dont think Nas would have been as tentative aginst JMM as he was against Barerra ..for he respected Barerras power more. Is it possible that Nas drops JMM as he would be more free swinging for less fear of getting hurt, or does he easily get outboxed?
What if? Naseem vs. JMM

JMM would have taken what Barrera did to another level.
JMM was just as quick if not quicker, bigger pop, and better at the outside game.
Naseem wasnt tentative because he wanted to be, it was because he had no choice Barrera kept popping him with shots he didnt see. -
prime hamed beats them all
hamed at the barrera stage gets owned by marquez-he was long past his best by then, mainly by his own fault-laziness, arrogance, changing trainer, messing with his style.
also we note that the barrera match was by no means a massacre, yes he lost clearly but hamed won 4-5 rounds on the scorecards as i remember???Comment

Prime Hamed would lose to Barerra, Morales, and JMM!! He would always have a punchers chance but to beat those guys would require an accumulation of punches. You will never KO any of them with just one punch from the middle of nowhere.. Hamed was vastly ovverated!!Comment

JMM would have made HAmed quit...
MArquez may have the heavist hands of all of the little guys, MAB does not have the power that JMM does without a doubt.
HAmed would have broken ear drums and be forced to quit in the latter rounds...my friend DLT taught me about something that goes like this "styles make fights" and I would give HAmed a better chance with Morales than with HAmed because Erik would allow a brawl to break out every now and then.
JMM would just counter Hamed until he quit.Comment

Naz pursues a retrating and counterign JMM but still wins a comfortable decision ... cause he knocks JMM down twice along the way.Comment

I was reading a interview with Emanuel Steward...
He said Hamed HATED sparring...he said he liked to do boxing workouts and stuff but never wanted to sparr....that he hated sparring for some reason...
so Hamed didnt agree with Emanuel Steward and Manny said, Hameds team would tell him the opposite of what Manny says...so he didnt really wanna work with the prince...
Manny said he only worked with Hamed "5 times" before the fight with Barrera....
Imagine what Hamed could've been if he was actually more disciplined..
Either way my boy Barrera whooped Hamed, and Hamed was a discgrace to Kronk..Comment

Naseem was not past his prime when he lost to Barrera. It's rediculous to make such statements in the first place.Comment
