I see alot of threads made by ignorant so called boxing fans who claim DLH is not ATG or HOF material, so by your pathetic logics is Oscar De La Hoya a journeyman? Is his Olympic Gold Medal, 6 Division Championships, and 10 time title holds not enough for you ****s??
Can somebody clear this up?

Up to 147 he gives any fighter in history a good fight. ATG means different things to different people, so debating it is pointless.Comment

Olympic medals mean nothing in professional boxing. If you win a gold medal, I think that's an amazing accomplishment, and I'm not downplaying it at all. However, professional and amateur boxing are very different. Many olympic gold medalists have very unsuccessful pro careers.
Anyway, de la Hoya is definitely a hall of famer. However, he lost all his biggest fights, so I wouldn't call him an ATG.Comment
