It is his 'social responsibility' to set a good example to the young kids coming up. Drugs are wrong by societies standards and *** people up.

It's YOUR social responsibility to make smart choices. People need to be accountable for thier own actions and stop blaming others for any decisions they make they turn out to be bad ideas.

This is what people dont understand.. By that logic you look at Tyson as a beast killer mad man? But IF YOU EVEN CARE too look at Tyson and his life you will understand he means well and is a kind person. The point is, if you are not looking at someones life (who happens to be a role model) you are pretty one dimensional as a person.

I could of worded my post better, I personally don't care what he does in his personal life, I don't like what he's doing, but I don't care I respect the man for what he did inside of the ring.
I find it interesting to look into boxers lives to see what they did and I do find a lot of them somewhat inspirational e.g Bernard Hopkins and Mike Tysons stories.

But this is their life not mine, I can't change what they did and what they're going to do, if they do something bad like take drugs it's none of my business and it shouldn't be anyone elses to interfere.

If they're a role model you look at their achievements and how they overcame struggles, not the bad things.

All I judge him on is his undefeated career. I know that a very large proportion of celebrities do drugs and that Calzaghe's only mistake was getting caught. The story is not in any way a revelation to me and has absolutely zero impact on my opinion of Joe Calzaghe the boxer.
