Adamek is clearly better at CW than he was at LHW, agree?

He dominated LHW only losing once against the current best LHW Chad Dawson. The comp at CW is not strong enough to compare it to LHW.

Street would you stop saying Dawson fought old geezers in Johnson and Tarver? First of all they were top 5 LHWs. Secondly, boxing fans were breathing down Dawson's neck to fight Johnson again even leading to when he signed the fight. After he signed the fight they complained about him ducking Cloud, a guy who's best win is over a shot Woods. The Tarver rematch was obligated since it was due to a rematch clause. Now he's gonna fight another top 5 LHW Jean Pascal.

That was a great performance by Adamek. Broke him down with a beautiful left hook to the body.

No it wasn't, he was befuddled for the first half of the fight with Banks' movement and counter punching.

As soon as he started going to the body and putting his combinations together, Banks broke down in a couple rounds. Chad is not Jonathan Banks.

A few weeks ago I said I wasn't a Hopkins fan anymore once he decided to take this fight. But I feel a little different now. I understand why he's fighting Roy Jones. But after this fight he does need to fight Chad Dawson. No ifs, ands, or buts about it. He can't fight Haye because Haye wants to fight one of the Klitchkos and he will have a mandatory against Valuev. The Adamek fight is less meaningful now that Adamek gave up his Cruiserweight title to fight at Heavy. Come on Bully, quit defending Hops so much.

The only guy I would give Hopkins a pass for fighting over Dawson would be Cunningham who has been mentioned in this thread since it would be an all Philly showdown and I think it would crown a Cruiserweight champ. But there again, Hopkins would be fighting a guy who got beat by Adamek. And if Hopkins fought Bute it would be a fight against a smaller fighter. Hopkins needs to retire or fight Dawson after he beats Jones tonight.
