Haye will box Ruiz tonight at the Manchester Evening News Arena in Manchester, England, because he was forced to do so.

Ruiz, a two-time WBA heavyweight champion, is the Venezuelan sanctioning organization’s mandatory challenger. So if Haye’s heavyweight dreams are to come true, he’ll have to first defeat an awkward, underrated opponent he just as soon would’ve avoided.

This wont be exciting but probably intense imo. Both guys will box it out and i'd be surprised if Haye KO's him. Haye is full of **** about him being the hardest puncher p4p, he thinks he hits harder p4p than say Kelly Pavlik or Manny Pacquaio, Cotto..... on and on. Dream on Haye but i hope he does surprise, i wont be holding my breath though.

If Haye tries to "box it out" and goes late with Ruiz, he's in trouble and may get TKO'd. Haye needs to spark out Ruiz within the first 6 rounds....

Anyway It'll be hard for Haye, because Ruiz desn't act like a dumb idiot like he did when he gifted Tua an easy KO, Ruiz learned from that.

Haye seems a bit heavy & not in his best condition, so I would suspect the later it goes, Ruiz, who even Haye admits is in great shape for this fight, will have the advantage and may even catch a tired Haye on that suspect chin of his. I also wouldn't be surprised by another robbery going against Ruiz, who should have won at least one of the Valuev fights.

Like most people I'm not a Ruiz fan and if Haye sparks him, so much the better. Then we'll see if he goes for Wlad and Vitali or opts to fulfill his options against Valuev and Chagaev/Meehan. But I just have a hunch that Ruiz is going to give Haye some big problems....

Yessiree. This is Haye's crossroads fight in the HW division. He needs a spectacular win over Ruiz to create some belief in more than just a few UK fanatics that he can compete with the kings of the division, Wlad and Vitali.

Anything less and his value will lessen.
