I love Lara but I think he's gonna have some trouble against good iron chinned pressure fighters. That talk of fighting Angulo could be dangerous.

lara is a a better boxer than cintron. cintron outboxed angulo.
i dont see a problem with that fight at all.

last round,

they touch gloves. both still bouncing on their feet. lara jabbing and working, creating space. lara catches perez off blance. lara with a nice left cross. tarver says lara should land more. perez lands a few punches. lara turns perez. perez wants to ****. lara still using his legs. lara 1-2 blocked. lara with check hook. perez still trying to apply preasure. they in the middle of the ring, mid rang. they fighting it out, but both defese is picking is decent. showtime announcers criticizing lara for not being impressive. perez still trying to win. they clinch. lara getting off first and not letting perez get off. perez wants to land a KO punch. last 10 sec and lara gets on his bike and raises his hand.

lara outclassed perez, too much skills and too much speed. perez never really got into the fight but atleast he was game. wish lara would've set a trap and land something really big to end it. a workman like performance but he didn't really wow me.

looked like a sparring session.
he's too smart in the ring, but i think the only way he hurts a contending to elite fighter in his division is if he runs them into shots. his power just isnt that great.

showtime announcers want more out of lara. they don't think lara did his best. I don't think we will see lara at his best until he steps it up in competition. these guys aren't good enough to push lara to the brink and really impress.

Fairly good performance. Perez is pretty tough and Lara is not a big puncher. So, I don't know why Tarver kept acting like Lara could KO him.

Lara is just an "ok boxer"
