Extra round in case of a draw???

How would you guys feel about a rule requiring 1 more round to determine a winner in the event of a draw???

The USBA used to have this, I remember this being mentioned in a fight, I think during Frank Fletcher-James Green.

except vasquez-marquez wasnt a draw. we're talking about in the event of a draw. wouldnt you like to get some closure in a highly disputed fight? Or in a fight where the hometown fighter is lucky to get a hometown draw in the 1st place?

if you mean go to the score cards and then have the fighters go at it one more round then No I think some one getting iffy L is worse then a draw IMO I would like for everybody to go 13 rounds tho that would make a draw less likely

i know what you mean.........but if this kinds of fighters (the corrales, vasquez, marquez) were ever involve in one............you and i know someone could get seriously hurt................very exciting and clears a lot of question.....but too risky....................the next question would be..............the extra round shouldnt have taken place..cause fighter A clearly won the first 12 rounds...............fact is.......this will not stop the whinning in boxing...................

I see what you mean as well, but the type of fighters you mention are already less likely to get a draw in the 1st place because they are the type of fighters that do not like to leave the fight in the hands of the judges.

I would have liked to see Malignaggi-Diaz for example go the extra round and eliminate the need for the unecessary rematch.
