Eamonn Magee's a good fighter with a fairly big punch and it was a flash kd with a counter. He'd give problems to most of the guys at 140.

The punch that put Hatton down against Magee was a good shot that would have put a fair few fighters down, it was a flash knockdown and Hatton recovered almost strait away, it was Hatton's first big fight against a fighter who was much more experienced and a tough proposition, Hatton learned from the fight and it hasn't happened since agaainst better fighters - it has if anything made Hatton a better fighter.

No way, Magee's as rough as they come, he's like the grim reaper!!! Magee was suposed to fight Mitchell, if it happened my money was on Magee, no doubt!!

I'm not making excuses but it was only a flash KD while Hatton was unloading, Hatton was off balance and he went down!! Hatton wasnt hurt, he was very embarrassed but thats it!! Its a fair knock down but its not proof that Hatton has any Problems with his chin

If you havent seen it here it is! If you watch it, you will see that Hattons off balance before you hear the punch land.

hatton needs to face mitchell, corley, urkal or some other top contender before facing zoo.... if he fought zoo now, he'd be jumping from "C" level comp to world class.... he needs to face someone in between to prepare him...

Agreed that Tszyu would be a big step up for Hatton but i dont think any of the fighters you mention are anymoe difficult than the fighters he's already face. Magee, Tackie and Phillips offered him as much experience as these guys can provide!

Gatti, Cotto or Harris would be the sort of test Hatton would need before fighting Tszyu but the fights unlikely to come off!!

Tszyu and Hatton are my favourite fighters but would rather Hatton win out of the two!! Even though Hattons taking an big risk, its a risk i want him to take because i have confidence in his ability.

I doubt any of those guys would teach him anything that his other fights haven't. Urkall's only scalp of note is a home town decision over Magee. Corley's no better than a few guys on Hatton's record and Mitchell was taken to SD by Phillips who Hatton battered. I think he should fight KT now as there's nothing to be gained by fighting anyone except maybe PBF, Cotto and Gatti which are fights that can be made down the line.

hatton is a good fighter to watch but he is waaay out of his league with tszyu. i have a feeling however that this fight will not happen due to warren's reluctance to lose his cash cow. my tip is tszyu will vacate to fight cory spinks and hatton will fight lovemore n'dou for the vacant title.
