I dont 100% agree on the Lara comments, i havent seen this fight yet but ive seen all his others and i dont think he needs to find more power to make it to the top, look at Paulie Malignaggi and Lara will be a better boxer than Paulie (yeah i know it's not the same weight class, dont think it matters). I like his style though obviously not the prospect like Gamboa or Rigondeaux, i rekon he's got the right stuff to take a title by 2011 end.

I wish Lara would be more spectacular. I like Gamboa more.

the way i see it is that he is stepping his opposition... mean while other fighters with Olympic stature like andrade are still fighting losing record fighters and cant knock them out. gamboa is a special case and he is gifted in his area. as lara is in his area which is more boxer

          Not a bad card....

Lara has good boxing skills & has shown some sort of pop in his punches..Last night against Perez, even thou Lara dominated & clearly won he didn't impress much & about not knocking out Perez, well that should not amaze anyone since Perez has never been KO'd before even when he lost to Margarito & note that Perez knocked down Margarito in the 1st round.....Velasquez fought real good, he showed very good boxing skills & pop in his punches in stopping Terry...(Note:Velasquez won gold in the central american & Caribbean games by beating Cuban Champ Gamboa)
