Is RJJ win over Toney underrated??

Whenever I hear people debating RJJ greatness, I rarely hear anyone mention his win over James Toney. Toney was 45-0 going into the fight, he may have had weight problems considering he weighed around 17 lbs over the limit on fight night (I think), and he looked pretty sluggish in there, but this could have been partly due to how good RJJ was. What do ya'll think about this?

I think Roy Jones should get full props irrespective of the weight as he prepared for the best James Toney, why should he pay the price because Toney is such a lazy ****, that should be Toney's punishment, Roy getting full props.

Jones still would of beat him had he made the weight easy.

Yeah people seem to forget how high tought off Toney really was at that point. Who thought Roy coming up in weight would dominate one of the top pound 4 pound fighters? It was a really great win.

James Toney was a defensive genius at the time. he was clowning around and got dropped by Jones, LOL. Jones beat a Hall of famer at his peak in Toney, and i remember all the Sh** that Toney was saying before the fight how he was going to Kill Jones. Toney in fact was the favorite for the fight, I saw the fight live on HBO.

Yeah Toney was really aggressive in the pre-fight interview, Roy was just like "We'll see come fight night". It was nice

come on man if anything his victory over james toney is a bit overrated james lights out toney was training with a refridegerator next to his bed in training camp..lol that wasnt the best prepared james toney at that time so no it is not a great win for jones career it is a good win but nothing special at all

its not roy's fault toney has an eating problem. Toney should have known to train the right way.

no, its not under rated AT ALL

                    IMO

if you look closely, the supposed "knockdown" will show that RJJ was standing on Toney's foot when he hit him... with the punch pushing him back while is foot is stood upon = guaranteed knockdown, but it shouldnt have counted

not to mention, Toney was not new to being behind early and coming back with a KO or what not

the win is what it is and that wont change, but even as a RJJ fan at the time, the knockdown was bull****
