Adam Carolla must be desperate need of attention. His comments about Pacquiao and the Philippines are sure to get him some.
About 90 million Filipinos are just beginning to hear about the comments he made about their “Pambansang Kamao” (National Fist) on a recent podcast.

Amazingly, Carolla didn't confine his racist comments to Pacquiao, he decided to go ahead and bash the entire country of the Philippines. Brilliant, Adam. Just brilliant. You're about to get results. Let's see how much you enjoy them.
No doubt, Carolla will say that his comments were all made in the name of comedy. The problem is, Corolla isn't funny. He's never been funny. He will never be funny.
As a Christian, this pastor / writer has always been disgusted by his constant vulgarity and belligerence.
Jesus Christ is the savior of the world, not a curse word for Carolla to use in his vain attempts to make
people laugh.
Now he's really crossed some lines. He obviously knows nothing about Filipino pride. He doesn't know that Filipinos stick together like glue when assaulted.
No doubt, he's about to be educated. Education is the only cure for ignorance. Unfortunately, there is currently no cure for ******ity, so whether or not Carolla wil learn from his gross error remains to be seen.
When discussing the Pacquiao - Mayweather blood testing debacle with a caller on the show, Carolla said:
“...because he's from the Philippines and because he's praying to chicken bones and stuff like that, everybody says, 'Well you gotta respect him for his belief system.' No you don't! He's a (explicative) idiot!”
Praying to chicken bones?
The only one that this writer has ever heard him give credit to for his accomplishments is God. To suggest that Pacquiao is some sort of pagan is ridiculous. Carolla has some 'splaining to do.
Calling Pacquiao an “idiot” is enough to enrage 90 million people in the Philippines, and about 4 million living in the United States, along with untold millions of American Pacquiao fans.
But oh, he didn't stop there. He went on to insult the entire nation.
“Here's how you know your country doesn't have a lot going for it; when everything is about Manny Pacquiao.” Corolla said.
On Pacquiao's bid for congress, he stated:
“You want some guy with brain damage running your country?! They got (Manny Pacquiao) and sex tours. That's all they have over there! Get your (explicative) together, Philippines!”
After finishing his chat with the caller, he continued his verbal assault.
“(Takes Jesus' in vain), it really p***** me off when other countries just do that whole thing. There's one guy. He's five foot six. He's a hundred and forty seven pounds, and he's good at punching people in the head. Any you're gonna build your entire country around this guy?”
Then, and I'm not kidding, he seemed unsure if the Philippines actually does have sex tours. He directed a question to an associate on the podcast:
Carolla: “Joe, isn't the Philippines...don't they have the sex tours there?”
Joe: “No, you're thinking of Thailand.”
Carolla: “Ahhh...same difference.”
Hey Adam, maybe you should have verified the rumor before stating it to be fact earlier in the podcast, you think?
And, “same difference”? This suggests that all Asian countries are the same. They all look alike, right Adam?
Ritchie from Lowell, Arkansas was born and raised in the Philippines, and she also happens to be the wife of this writer. She was highly offended by Carolla's comments.
She said: “He doesn't know what he's talking about. Is he from the Philippines? Has he ever even been to the Philippines? Filipinos may come from a poor country, but we have pride, diginity, and self-respect."
She went on to say: "Sex tours? In the Philippines, there are plenty of very poor girls who are trying to survive. That doesn't make it right, but in the states there are even more girls who aren't poor, and they have multiple partners for free!"
As fellow Examiner, Michael Marley said, the greatest insult to a comedian is to tell him he's not funny.
Congratulations, Sir Adam Carolla. You're officially 'not funny'. Not even a tad bit.
The Bible says we reap what we sow. You've planted a crop that spans the globe.
I hope you can handle the harvest.
Who's the idiot now?
