Jones vs Hopkins 2- April 3 Marketing Geniuses

These guys are smart that they put a $50 PPV fight the same day that the NCAA Tournament has their FInal Four games. Alot of boxing fans are also fans of Basketball. The games Butler vs Michigan State will be on like 7Pm eastern and Duke vs W ******a on like 9:45 PM. Even as a die hard boxing fan it will be difficult to pass over live meaningful games like that for two 40 plus year olds with a trivial fight. If the Haye vs Ruiz fight is early on, i may watch that one.

Prediction: The PPV Fight Jones and Hopkins dosent even do 350,000 buys. It may even do less than 300,000 buys, expect them to lie about the numbers.

Does it even matter? Roy ain't doing it for the money and Hopkins want this for personal reasons mainly. Those who want to see it will see it.

I don't care if Rodeo is going up against it. I'm not paying 50 dollars for it. This fight is really only for RJJ and BHop fans. Or guys who have 55-65 dollars to throw around.

If it does more than 400k I'll be shocked.

Actually in every single promo they express the point the main event will NOT start until the games are over.

Well i have been a JOnes fan since his 1988 Seoul Olympic matches and will only watch it on stream. All due respect, neither fighter is really a PPV attraction anymore. BHOp is not even knocked out anyone since DLH back in 2004. Maybe if Bhop fights against Dawson than he is PPV material.
