Williams might be next, he is the more experienced of the hopefuls.

Both Lopez and Gamboa can keep up climbing. Lopez may have a slight edge since he already has two divisions under his belt and has a better body to keep moving up. I have not been impressed by Pavlik nor Rigondeaux. Pavlik seems to be actually moving backwards in competition level lately, let's see how he does in his next fight.

They have to get through Jorge Linares for this to be possible.... That **** ain't happening either.

Linares needs to recover a belt, until then he is most likely getting protected from any decent prospect/lower weight champion. After all, he was KOd by a lucky punch from a mediocre fighter, that chin might be an issue.

He wasn't hit on the chin. He was hit on the temple.

GBP isn't going to let him fight weak comp, they know his skill and want to make a star out of him. He may not have a belt right now but it is easily obtainable for him. He stopped Larios for the title a year after Pacquiao decisioned him.

I think that whoever comes out the best at 140 will be anointed #1 P4P. The winner of the super six tournament will have Bute, then Dawson, and that's pretty much it. Allegedly, there's a guy called Tavoris Cloud, but I think he's just an urban legend. Whereas whoever comes out the best at 140 will have gotten though more than just six other good fighters, and they'll be an HBO fighter who's just under the more "Famous" welterweight division, and I think that it all but certain that they will move up in weight, possibly to give the winner of the May/Shane/Pac triangle one of their last fights.

If I remember correctly, the punch that began it all, the one responsible for the first KD, went through his guard and into his lower face, it has been a few months so I may be wrong. Anyways, GB may find him some above average guys for the time being, but he is not going to be facing a lower division champion after getting KOd in 1 and winning a MD. He needs to get back on track.

Tim Bradly definitely has a very high chance of becoming the next pound for pound king. then perhaps andre berto also and then paul williams.

i agree with Bradley. good choice for future p4p.

                  otherwise

                  Gamboa
Valero (depending on where it goes)
Pavlik (if he takes out Martinez and then faces Williams)
                  Ward if he stays undefeated

Andre Ward, Dirrell, Paul williams, & chad dawson. all 4 are supremely athletic & have great upside. not a big believer of bradley yet. his upside is much lower than others i mentioned.
