Darchinyan got outboxed the last time by Donaire. Donaire is going to outbox Darchinyan again.

Darchinyan improved some when he went back with his old amateur coach. He was becoming more of a two-handed fighter that set up punches with a jab instead of just lunging in with lefts all the time.

That said, when he stepped up against Agbeko, a boxer-puncher with good skills and size, Darchinyan reverted back to his bad habits. That makes me wonder if he can really maintain focus when he's technically outgunned.

I asked Shaw how he felt as a businessman, whose instincts would be to protect his investment, how he felt about the fight. He responded:

"It doesn't make a difference how I feel. If my fighter wants the fight, I make the fight."

truth of the matter is darchi is on his last leg in terms of his boxing career, there's no other fights for darchi left that would give sharky shaw that much money than a fight against donaire. he is making a gamble, in which he isn't afraid to lose............ shaw on the financial end of the stick has got more to win now, giving this fight to darchi.

Donaire needs to take this fight just to prove he is as good as he looks. I rate him very highly but he needs to step up the level of competition he is fighting. Forget being the "WBA interim" and actually go and tackle the champions in your division.

As for the fight I see Donaire winning by knockout again, Just because Vic's style makes him vulnerable, Especially against a boxer-puncher like Nonito.
